Harry "Bud" Hart

Harry P. “Bud” Hart practiced law for 61 years (1963-2024) where his primary areas of practice were zoning, condemnation, eminent domain, waterfront litigation and municipal law. He participated in numerous civic and volunteer organizations since the 1960’s including as the past chair of Hopkins House, a Center for Children and their Families, past chair of the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Commission, a member of the City of Alexandria Charter Revision Committee, the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, the Alexandria Community Services Board, and the Alexandria Kiwanis Club. He remains an active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Community and the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church . He was also a member of the Alexandria and American Bar Associations, as well as the Virginia State Bar.  Bud officially retired as of September of 2024, but you’ll still see his smiling face around the office from time to time.
