Faheem Darab

A recent addition to Wire Gill, Faheem has more than 15 years of experience in local government in the areas of long range planning, current planning (development review, design review, and proffer negotiations), subdivisions, and building permitting. This experience also includes extensive project management and public engagement. Faheem’s focus has been on TOD and mixed use urban development, with experience in a range of other development types.

Faheem guides clients during all aspects of the entitlement process, including preparing detailed site analysis during due diligence; advising clients on the viability of development proposals; negotiating key development parameters and conditions with local government staff; advocating client interest during planning studies; engaging with community members and civic groups during public outreach; and presenting cases before public bodies for approval. Faheem's varied work experience, attention to detail, and trusted relationships with local government staff and community members makes him a valuable asset to our clients.

Prior to joining Wire Gill LLP, Faheem worked for the City of Bellevue, Washington (3 years), Fairfax County, Virginia (11 years), and the City of Alexandria, Virginia (1 year).

Faheem was born and raised in Northern Virginia where he resides with his family.
